Built in 1957, the Thunderbird Beach Resort opened its doors in 1958. The Thunderbird is one of Treasure Island’s landmark resorts. We have renovated over the years while managing to stay true to the era that people are nostalgic for. To many people The Thunderbird represents summer, vacation, and memories of a much simpler time.
