About Us

Treasure Island is many things to many people. It is a vacation destination for some, the ''let's go to the beach'' destination for mainlanders, a ''night on the town'' locale for others, the ''Sand Sculpture Capital of Florida'' and, of course, it is home to many thousands of people from all walks of life. Treasure Island is located on a barrier island and it has nearly four miles of gulf beachfront running the entire length of its city limits. Visitors who stick to Gulf Boulevard, the main road, are often surprised to learn that there are over 5800 single family dwellings in Treasure Island.
