The Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber (TIMBC) is in search of a Chamber President
As a part of the Chambers’ strategic plan, the organization has four core values: tourism, membership, team development and hospitality. Tourism is a huge contributor to our area and, as such, potential candidates must have a tourism background. The Chambers’ main marketing initiatives are through social media, direct marketing, advertising, and event planning. Candidates applying for the Presidents’ position will hold, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree is desired. Education in the area(s) of public relations, association management, tourism, business and/or marketing from an accredited college or university. Equivalent experience and related experience will be considered. Additional consideration will be given if the candidate possesses three years or more of executive management leadership experience in the business, Chamber of Commerce work, volunteerism, tourism, economic development and/or community development field, or a combination of these. Candidates should be willing to keep up with industry standards and have the foresight to lead the Chamber through visionary growth and meaningful change to improve the business environment of the community.
