City of Treasure Island Community Appreciation Day
 
The City of Treasure Island presents the 2nd Annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Treasure Island Community Center and Park located at 1 Park Place @ 106th Avenue. There will be a showcase of the City Departments, Civic Associations and Community Partners with additional activities including a Touch-a-Truck, Vehicle Extrication Demo, Community Art Project, Moonwalks, live music and a Chili Cook-Off Contest.
 
The Chili Cook-Off will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Community Center Garden Room. A $5 donation allows you to sample and vote on all entries, while they last. Free to enter your chili recipe. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best chili recipes as judged by the chili sampling public.
 
Live music provided by local favorite Dennis Wallace from 11am until 1pm.
 
FREE parking at the City of Treasure Island’s Public Metered Lots will be available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
 
The events is FREE to the public, with the exception of the Chili Cook-Off.
