DESCRIPTION:The John's Pass Seafood Festival has always been a celebrated event.\nThe John's Pass Seafood Festival is a non-profit organization. The festival is\, and has always been\, very dedicated to giving back to the community by donating proceeds to the City of Madeira Beach and the Pinellas County Schools. Over the past years\, we are pleased to share that the festival has also become a large charity event. The festival continues to focus on supporting different non-profit organizations by offering events that generate substantial donations.\n\nAs Pinellas County's premier seafood festival\, the John's Pass Seafood Festival offers a number of unique attributes that benefit Madeira Beach and all of Pinellas County. The Festival promotes the positive social and economic impact of the seafood industry in Pinellas County. It helps educate the public about seafood and its importance to the area's economy. The Festival provides substantial publicity to the wide variety of seafood indigenous to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. The festival further boosts tourism and recreation within John's Pass Village & Boardwalk\, Madeira Beach\, and Pinellas County during the non-summer months. In sum\, the Festival gives visitors and the residents of Pinellas County a reason to visit Madeira Beach to have fun and enjoy the bounty of seafood that inhabits our coastal waters.
